The occasion was marked with highlights of the year presented by outgoing Board Chair Doug Smith, the appointment of new Board leadership positions, a clip highlighting resident, volunteer and staff activities (watch the clip here) , Stage 2 of Building Master Plan and presentations to staff and volunteers for years of service and academic achievements.
Cooinda Board 2022 – 2023
Board members appointed to leadership positions for the coming year are :
Board Chair (President) – Richard Rubira
Board Vice-Chair (President) – Lis O’Halloran
Chair Finance Committee – Norma Hodgson
Last night both Doug Smith, outgoing Board Chair and Kelvin Hodge, outgoing Chair Finance Committee stepped down from their leadership roles to become general board members.
We said farewell to Colin McDonald after 20 years of serving on the Cooinda Board, with 10 of those years as Board Chair – and also to Board Member, Logan Armstrong, thanking him for his service.
Cooinda remains in safe hands with our experienced Board members and we look forward to welcoming new members in the future.
