During that time, we note the activities that lift the person’s mood and engages them. Using these observations, we attempt to shift the focus away from their symptoms and behaviours. As a result, the individual is encouraged in their strengths and abilities to energise and engage them.
Our Cooinda Health and Wellbeing team bring fun activities and social connection. This encourages positive feelings of joy, hope and improved well being.
Our dedicated memory support unit is designed with your care in mind. Researched and developed in conjunction with dementia specialists, the Norm Matthews Memory Support unit offers a calming and content environment, which brings out the best in people living with dementia. A central area for dining and the delivery of daily activities encourages social connection. Most importantly, individual rooms with a private ensuite have space for your personal items, so you feel at home.
