Cooinda residents with the assistance of volunteers unravel clean hand kitted jumpers. The skeins of wool are again washed and brought back to Cooinda to be rolled into balls.
The unravelling and rolling of the wool engages our Cooinda residents in reminiscing, eye hand coordination and a social opportunity with others.
If you have any unwanted hand knitted jumpers we’d like to hear from you. Contact us to make arrangements to drop the jumpers off at Cooinda’s reception or we can collect them.
